Fast & Furious 8 (aka The Fate of the Furious) – A Quick Capsule Review

Fast & Furious 8 (aka The Fate of the Furious) – A Quick Capsule Review

Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
It’s dumb.  Has no sense of it’s own logic from film to film.  It’s over the top. It’s ridiculous.  And it’s really bloody good fun.  Welcome then to Fast 8.  From the New York heist to the submarine based finale and everything in between, The Fate Of The Furious drives headlong from one set piece to another with little sense of plot or  logic but with a key sense of what’s fun, what’s entertaining and what’s adrenaline packed. It also features one of the best cameos in  recent film memory (yes Helen Mirran putting on an amazingly bad fake British accent even though she’s er, British.)  It’s top draw check your brain at the door movie making.  Look 8 films in you kinda know what you are getting and if it’s your bag this up there with the best F&F with enough stupid explosions and action packed scenes to pass it’s over two hour run time.

Best Bit: Rock/Statham bromance & Helen Bloody Mirran

Buy, Stream, Avoid: Stream

If You Liked this Try: Fast & Furious 5, Fast & Furious 6, The Fast & The Furious
