Phil’s Quick Capsule Review:
Honestly? Great action but overall it didn’t wow me. The story was pretty bad, the script horrible ( and the acting so silly it bordered on parody) and I didn’t like the fact that Max was a pretty pointless as a character.   I just left the cinema thinking “and?”. It just wasn’t a Mad Max film as the character was utterly wasted and had no lineage to Gibson’s previous version. I just need more than mindless action. It looked amazing for sure but it shouldn’t have been a Mad Max film.

Best Bit: Visually stunning
